Body Workshop
I was interested in meeting Bianca from the first time I visited IndianSoulArt. I was there for an astrology workshop, and the power from the crystals and rocks that she treated was so strong we could all feel it and needed to take frequent breaks to stay grounded. Needless to say, when Christina informed me Bianca was giving a workshop I was certainly going to be a participant.
I attended the Body Type workshop not knowing what to expect, and I found the subject matter extremely informative. It was very liberating for me to discover that the standard American healthy-eating regimen is not optimal for everyone - myself included. I thought I was having some blood sugar or thyroid issues and had both checked - everything was fine - but I was still feeling light-headed at times. Bianca helped me to understand that the food I was choosing was too complex for my body since my metabolism is extremely fast, so I wasn't able to break it down for full nutritional benefit. She also educated me on what to eat with certain foods to aid in digestion, as well as certain foods to avoid.
Everyone attending was able to receive personalized information on their body type, from a nutritional and supplement standpoint, as well as specific exercise suggestions, compatible professions, and the like.
Since attending the workshop, I've asked Bianca to create a necklace for me to aid in my development. The necklace is not meant to be actually worn by the individual. I've placed my necklace in my bedroom and my dreams have been very vivid and different from previous dreams. I tend to be a lucid dreamer and so I'm very excited when my dreams change because then I know my energies are shifting.
I also feel like I'm opening up to more possibly, different avenues of expression. I'm focusing on my home right now, rearranging and discarding items in my home, as well as having the excess landscaping removed to create more space in my front and backyard. Right now my backyard (the future in feng shui) is rather busy/cluttered, and my desire is to go into the backyard and feel the space, notice and enjoy what's there, and not be overwhelmed by so much "stuff."
I've also asked Bianca to provide me with a customized oil blend. I'm a rather high-strung person and the oil blend has a calming effect.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to meet Bianca and benefit from her unique gifts. She's helped me to understand my intrinsic nature more clearly on a physical, mental, and spiritual level.

Ricardo Hopkins
Ricardo Hopkins is member of the Sissteton-Whapeton dakota Sioux Tribes of South Dakota. He started his career at the age of six at his grandfather knees, learning how to sharpen tools and work with the grain of wood. By the age of 11, he was already selling his carvings. At the age of 27 he was known for carving Native American Love flutes. In the following years he progressed to work with stone. The stone of his choice is alabaster. It took him four years to complete the orange alabaster library set. The next five pieces were completed over a ten months period.
Ricardo is a member of the Big Island Art Guild County, Hawaii.
Ricardo has also taught flute and wood carving as well as basket making and leather braiding.
